Welcome Suzanna Davis to the Grant Us Hope Team

Suzanna Davis joined the Grant Us Hope team as Director of Programming in July. A life-long educator, she has served as a health teacher, assistant/associate principal and, most recently, the Principal of Lakota East High School. Suzanna holds a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Mrs. Davis has long been a strong advocate for youth health and wellness throughout her career. During her tenure at Lakota East, she focused on increasing academic performance while incorporating student voice within the 2,700 student high school. “Student voice has always been a priority for me”, Davis shared. “By engaging students in meaningful ways, we enable them to own their learning with the goal of reaching their personal and professional goals.”

GUH Executive Director, Dr. Keith Kline, commented “Suzanna is the the right person to take Grant Us Hope to the next level. She is student-centered, has an extensive background in student health and wellness, and is passionate about working with teens to ensure they have the both the educational and emotional skills necessary to meet with life-long success.”

The Lakota East was part of the first cohort of local schools to launch Hope Squad, the peer-to-peer, evidence-based program that focuses on youth mental health and suicide prevention.

Welcome to Grant Us Hope Suzanna!
