Please join us to learn how you can save student lives and how HOPE SQUAD can change the culture of your school.
Hope Squads are the eyes and ears of a school. They are comprised of students who are trained to watch for at-risk students, provide friendship, identify warning signs, and seek help from adults. Grant Us Hope works with school advisors to train students who have been identified by their classmates as trustworthy peers to serve as Hope Squad members. Through evidence-based training modules, Hope Squad members are empowered to seek help and save a life.
What happens when a school has a Hope Squad? Students are more aware of what is going on with their peers emotionally and have the tools to help their classmates get to the help they need BEFORE that student makes a potentially deadly decision. 65% of all mental health and suicide referrals are made by students. Student compassion and empathy increase dramatically. Most importantly, LIVES ARE SAVED!
